Congratulations to my friend Dale Arnold on the publication of his first book, “If These Walls Could Talk” about the @nhlbruins. It arrived three hours ago and I’m almost done, it’s that good. If you’re interested in the Bruins, or just in hockey, or even just in behind-the-scenes stories about great athletes showing their human side, go get this book. Good job big guy 🏒😎. @daleearnold
I’m in Maine working on “The Russian” my next book. But I needed to take the boat back to Yarmouth for winter storage as well as have an M777 Howitzer installed. Worst day of the year - taking the boat back. It means summer is done and winter is coming.
I’m sure everyone heard or read in the news but in case you didn’t here’s what happened. He came at me quickly. He was growling but I thought that was my stomach so I ignored it. Luckily I caught the bear’s scent as he slashed his claws at my back. I turned, ducked, and he whiffed. I waited for the momentum of his lunge to leave him vulnerable. I swivel kicked a hammering blow to his manhood. Then I got him in a “Full Nelson” and the rest is history. Ornery little bugger.
